Financial Overview
Strengths
4- 1
Large and expanding retail network. The company had 503 stores as of March 31, 2026, increasing to 536 stores by July 31, 2026.
- 2
Strong presence in smaller cities. Its focus on Tier II, Tier III and beyond markets provides access to consumer segments that are less concentrated in major metropolitan areas.
- 3
Multiple revenue streams. Besides new smartphones, the company sells pre-owned phones, accessories, televisions, laptops and tablets and provides ancillary services.
- 4
Experienced management and established brands. The promoter-led management has significant experience in mobile-phone retail, while SS Mobile and Mobile Exchange Wala provide established brand platforms.
Risks
4- 1
High dependence on mobile phones. Mobile phones contributed approximately 86.1% of FY2026 revenue, making the business highly dependent on smartphone demand.
- 2
Geographical concentration. A substantial portion of its store network and business remains concentrated in Maharashtra, increasing exposure to conditions in that market.
- 3
Supplier concentration. A significant portion of inventory is sourced from a limited number of suppliers, which could create supply or pricing risks if relationships or availability change.
- 4
Working-capital intensive business. Retailing smartphones and electronics requires substantial inventory and working capital, while rapid product launches and price changes can create inventory-value and margin pressures.
