- 2
Diversified product portfolio covering distribution, power, solar and special-purpose transformers.
- 3
Large installed production capacity of 15,00,000 KVA for distribution transformers and 1,350 MVA for power transformers.
- 4
Strong exposure to government and utility customers, providing access to the growing power transmission and distribution market.
Risks
4- 1
High dependence on government and public-sector customers could expose revenue to changes in government spending, tendering and project execution.
- 2
Working-capital and debt requirements can remain significant as the business expands its manufacturing capacity; the company has reported secured borrowings/charges with lenders.
- 3
Raw-material price volatility, particularly for key transformer inputs such as copper, aluminium, electrical steel and other components, can pressure margins.
- 4
Capital-intensive expansion risk — planned investments in manufacturing capacity require substantial capital and depend on achieving sufficient capacity utilisation and demand.
